    Hi Team,

We are encountering issues with the Constant Contact plugin disconnecting automatically, resulting in newsletter form submissions failing with the error: “No associated list”. This seems to be due to the list not syncing properly whenever the plugin unexpectedly refreshes and reconnects.

Despite following troubleshooting steps—such as deleting and reinstalling the plugin as recommended—the issue persists. We’re using updated versions of all plugins, WordPress core, and PHP 8.2.

The error log shows the following message: [2024-11-07T09:54:44.708303+00:00] API.INFO: ConstantContact_API::get_lists:335 unauthorized: Unauthorized [] []

Could you please provide support to resolve this issue?

    Good day,

We still have some late testing to do, but this is definitely a situation that we’re hoping to get hardened up in our next planned release, after someone else noted the same issues. Hopefully soon for this, potentially as early as tomorrow, but we can’t make a promise on that.

Features related to helping the original poster here have been released as part of version 2.7.0. If you’re experiencing similar issues, please upgrade as soon as possible.

After updating to the latest version 2.7.1, we are still experiencing the “Contact Form Disconnected” issue.

Could you please help us resolve this?

Thank you for your patience in response here.

The issue around repeated disconnections is something that someone would need to attempt to debug on your site specifically, for what it’s worth. Something, somewhere prevented a refresh from being successful, and the plugin gets caught in a situation where it can no longer retry without human intervention.

What was part of the 2.7.0 release was more around extra catching of the submitted information so that we would re-submit that info once a fresh connection had been established.

    Hi Team,

We have disabled all plugins, switched to the default Twenty Twenty-Three theme, and ensured everything is up to date. However, we are still encountering the “Constant Contact form disconnected” issue.

Could you please assist us in resolving this issue? Alternatively, let us know if there are any other ways to connect to Constant Contact.

    Looking forward to your support.

If you’d like to explore possibly troubleshooting this issue more directly and specifically with your site, we’d need to elevate this request into our private support avenue. Let us know if that’s of interest to you.

How frequently are you seeing the issue crop up, even after manually re-authenticating? Is it a daily issue for example? Every morning you can wake up and log in and anticipate the messaging being there, for example?
