Normally the featured image is displayed automatically when the post is displayed on the frontend. It does require that the “Featured Image” setting is enabled, and that there is no interference from other plugins. If that isn’t happening, most likely something is interfering, like another plugin or maybe the theme. The best way to determine the issue is to troubleshoot your plugins and theme. Alternately, you can set up a default WP site, install USP to verify it works, then begin adding plugins one at a time, testing between each until the culprit is found.
Hi thanks for the quick response. Yes, the “Featured Image” setting is enabled.
I understand what you are saying but I’m using Enfold (a well known and stable theme) and using several ways to display the posts. I also tried to use the plugin: “essential grid” but this also does not show the Featured Image. Only after I visit the blog page itself.
Do you perhaps know a solution?
There a lot of plugins that are known to interfere with default WP functionality, so it’s basically impossible to just “guess” at what the issue might be. As explained, the absolute best way to figure out if there is any conflict is to do some quick troubleshooting of all plugins and theme. Alternately, setting up a test site is an alternate way of going about it, as explained in my previous reply.
