Can you possibly add automatic font detection? I tried using this plugin but it doubles my page size because I don’t know which exact fonts to use. I am currently using a plugin that does that: https://ww.wp.xz.cn/plugins/selfhost-google-fonts/ but it does not have features like this plugin such as font display swap which I need.

    Thanks.

‘using’ it on a page, in text for example, is different from whether the font is loaded or not. Usually each page loads the same fonts, but some pages just don’t use them, which is actually more of an optimization issue 🙂

Is OMGF not detecting Roboto at all? Because then it’s possible Elementor loads Google Fonts in an unconventional way. I’d have to check Elementor’s code.

    I’ll get back to you!

@daanvandenbergh Any updates? I am having the issue on all my sites with Elementor, Roboto does not get detected.

I’m currently building a new site, using Elementor. I’ll test it with OMGF as soon as I have something up and running.

    Thank you for your patience.

@daanvandenbergh Ok, also from the original post, it looks like even with auto-detect, it still doubles my page size because it calls in all fonts/sizes downloaded even if they are not used in that page, is it possible to make it so only the ones needed on that page are called in?

    Thanks.
