Automatic Language Translation and Posting

I am looking for a plugin that will take my posts and machine translate them into another language of my choice, and then post the translation as a new post, all automatically.
When a new post is published, the plugin creates a translated post and posts it, in a category labelled with the language.
I think Bens Tranlator did something like that but it’s a very old plugin now and doesn’t seem to be talking to Google properly. I have tried Transposh but can’t get it to work, even with no other plugins and just 2016 theme.

Any ideas? It seems most machine translators invoke Google and do a translation on the fly, but don’t seem to create anything on my server that persists when the original post is deleted.
