• Hi Gurus,

I am current using Mailpoet and WP File Download plugin for newsletter subscription. My user upload document via WP File download. So i am trying to use mailpoet to send out notification to subscribers whenever there is a file upload.

Under Mailpoet i am using post notification and Automatic Latest Content Widget to check for pages update but it does not seem to work. I know mailpoet only can check with post not pages, i am hoping is there anyway i can work around this or other solution.

    Appreciate

    Hi there @pni78,

With the Automatic Latest Content block, you can set it to work with either Posts, Pages, Media, or Products. Custom post types will generally work as well (as long as they are searchable on the frontend of the site), though that will depend on the specific implementation that is adding the CPT:

You mentioned you tried to do it with Pages, but it didn’t seem to work. Do you mean that the Post Notification was just never triggered? Or did you have a different issue?

For your specific case, if those file uploads are being added to the site’s Media Library, then perhaps the “Media” option might be a good choice. If you try setting the Automatic Latest Content block to “Media”, and try a file upload, do you see the post notification trigger?
