Automatic log out

    I recently set up my blog website using WordPress. Obviously I have been making multiple changes to settings and testing out various plugins. For the past one week I have been facing the issue of being automatically logged out after a period of time (typically around 5 minutes – I haven’t checked this however).

    Any ideas what settings this might be related to. Users face the same problem as well.

    Have you tried:

    – deactivating all plugins to see if this resolves the problem. If this works, re-activate the plugins one by one until you find the problematic plugin(s).

    – switching to the Twenty Ten theme to rule out any theme-specific problems.

    – resetting the plugins folder by FTP or PhpMyAdmin. Sometimes, an apparently inactive plugin can still cause problems.
