• I use the Semplice site builder with WordPress and WP Dark Mode works fine with it. But there is one big flaw, that makes the plugin unusable for me: If I change the display mode (light<–>dark) in macOS Ventura, my website doesn’t switch to dark mode. It worked once at the beginning, but now the functionality is broken.

I bought the Ultimate version for 69 USD, but didn’t get a response of the support team für nearly 48 hours: ww.wp.xz.cn/support/topic/automatic-os-mode-change-works-only-mobile-not-on-desktop/

Sorry guys, but that’s just a solid two star rating. 🙁

What I have forgotten to mention: the switch button in the menu doesn’t work proper – the design is broken for all switch designs out of the box. Therefore I paid a lot of money…

First of all, I want to apologize for your unpleasant experience and for the delayed response due to the vacation. We want to inform you that the OS-aware will not affect the default dark mode if you have previously enabled/disabled the dark mode through the switch.

When the switch is used for the first time, it gets more priority than OS-aware Settings. If you want to always prefer dark mode regarding OS-aware settings, you can turn off the switch settings.

Would you kindly share the URL of the broken switch design website so we can check the issue?
