Hi, I am trying to figure out if it is possible to automatically post events to Facebook. I see this info:

But in the picture it just shows sharing links (and those are mentioned in the article). But I don’t see if it is possible to automatically post the events to Facebook. Please let me know if automatic posting to FB is possible with The event Calender. Thanks!

Thanks for your message! This wouldn’t be possible with The Events Calendar, but you can use this guide to enable something similar with a few extra tools:

Hi,
this and other plugins I’ve seen all talk about posting POSTS. Is The Event Calender Event a POST? Even Jetpack does automatic posting of WP Posts. But I cannot find any automatic posting of events anywhere.

Events created with our plugins are a WordPress post type and can be recognized by some third-party plugins that do automatic sharing on social media.
