• Hi Mr Clayton,

Firstly thank you for your awesome plugin.

I’m trying to save cards (with method “Stripe Credit Cards”) for new buyers that are buying a subscription.

As per the card saving description:

…if the cart contains a subscription, there will be no checkbox because the payment method will be saved automatically. There will also be no checkbox for guest checkout as a user must be logged in to save a payment method.

I’ve turned off the guest checkout option : https://www.dropbox.com/s/0frgl7u41v6tzx6/Screenshot%202021-10-28%20at%2000.25.07.png?dl=0

However on the checkout page when a prospect is creating an account and placing the order in one session the checkbox still shows (despite the cart having a subscription) : https://www.dropbox.com/s/p9lqzr9t8yjcean/Screenshot%202021-10-28%20at%2000.27.29.png?dl=0

I’m sure I’m not the only one whose prospects’ first purchase is a subscription.

I really hope there is a way to make this work other than getting prospects to first make an account, then login, then order the subscription because thats far from an optimal user experience.

    Hi @deedytech,

That’s not how it’s supposed to work and I am not able to re-create what you’re describing on my development site. What is your website url?

The way it’s supposed to work (and how it’s working on my dev site) is the save card checkbox never shows if there is a subscription in the cart. Are you using the WooCommerce Subscriptions plugin?

We need to update the docs because recently we added a feature so if a customer is creating an account for the first time on the checkout page, they can save their card info.

Many thanks for the prompt reply.

    My URL is deedy.be

Please note the range of products is very limited currently because the site is still under construction.

I’m using Sumo Subscriptions because it supports the purchase of multiple subscriptions with different conditions in 1 checkout session whereas WooCommerce Subscriptions does not.

Here is the plugin if you would like to test it:

Please let me know if I can provide anything else

    Hi @deedytech,

I’m using Sumo Subscriptions because it supports the purchase of multiple subscriptions with different conditions in 1 checkout session whereas WooCommerce Subscriptions does not.

That’s the problem, this plugin doesn’t have an integration with that subscription plugin. Unless the developers of that plugin have added an integration with this plugin. Can you confirm that?

Just FYI, WCS supports multiple subscriptions in the cart with different conditions. It’s a setting you enable in the WCS settings.

    Kind Regards,
