The problem: the page is auto scrolled down after leaving a vote (to the position of poll widget). In mobile view.

    Hello @js1200

    I hope you’re doing well!

I’ve visited your site and looks like the widget is not showing (perhaps for the logged out users only (?)).

Out of the box, this is how the Forminator behaves, it is showing the Polls result after submission so it is scrolling to the section where Poll is located. Please feel free to try out the Ajax submission method in the Behaviour tab, so a page would not be reloading after submission.

    Please see this screenshot:

    Hope this helps!

    Kind regards,

The widget is visible to guests on all resolutions.
Submission method is already set to ajax mode. Behavior is the same in page refresh mode.

It would be nice to have the ability to switch this feature off. Currently it doesn’t work.

    Hello @js1200

in addition to “Submission method” you can also try setting “Rendering” in Poll’s “Behavior” settigns to “load poll using AJAX if it’s not set yet. While it won’t actually remove the scrolling (as Nastia explained this is the default behavior if results are to be displayed after voting) it might make the entire poll stay “more in place”.

As for switching that scrolling off – there’s also an option to show a link to results instead of results themselves. With all the “ajax” options enabled, the page shouldn’t be then scrolled but “stay in place” while voting, though visitors would have to click “View results” to see votes results.

    Kind regards,
    Adam

Thing is, it shows the results every time when I hit any link on my page instead of showing the results once after leaving a vote for the first time πŸ™‚
Votes on my poll are IP limited.

    Hello @js1200

This is again the expected behavior as long as a visitor has submitted an answer in the poll. Wouldn’t this workaround work for you? Please advise!

    Thank you,
    Dimitris

In other words: I’d like to scroll to the results only once, after vote submission for the first time, not every time when user visits the site later on.

    Hello @js1200 ,

Okay, I can see the issue – I will check this with the plugin developers and see what can we do to prevent that problem.
    We will keep you posted.

    kind regards,
