My site stops updating automatically in version 4.9.2. As well as all themes and plugins.
Today, I upgrade the whole site, themes and plugins to the latest by manually replacing. Now the version of the wordpress is 4.9.6.

In hearth check, it contains only one problem:
Couldn’t retrieve a list of the checksums for WordPress 4.9.6. This could mean that connections are failing to ww.wp.xz.cn.

My server is Ubuntu 18.04 with latest apache2 and php72 with fpm.
It’s possible to nav to https://ww.wp.xz.cn by using curl.

    Any ideas?
    Thanks in advanced.

    Tested:
    wget https://downloads.wp.xz.cn/release/wordpress-4.9.6.zip
    works well on my server.

    Still dont know whats wrong.

In April, I did a release upgrade in the server which hosts the wordpress. Is that the reason?

It fixed by creating a new server from scratch and copy all data to the new one.

It seems that something went wrong while upgrading from ubuntu 17 to 18.
