    Hi,

I’m setting up a page for a recently deceased friend and I’m using USP to allow friends and family to submit ‘tributes’ to him through a WordPress site. I have a form set up where people can enter these tributes, and I’d like there to be a page where all the tributes are shown (the page takes all posts in a ‘Tributes’ category and displays them).

Right now I’m waiting for new posts to come in, then going into the admin panel and changing the post category to “Tribute” then publishing it. I don’t want users to have to select a category when they post a tribute, so I don’t have that dropdown in the form. Is there a way to automatically assign this category to the user submitted posts?

    Thanks,

The free version doesn’t include a feature for automatically assigning categories to submitted posts, but the Pro version can do it easily. For more infos, contact me using the contact form (bottom of the page from that link). Thank you.

Okay. Does the pro version also give you the ability to change the default title of the post? I haven’t included that field either, but it’s showing up as “User Submitted Post” when I display it on the tributes page.

Please contact me for more info about the Pro version. The forums here at ww.wp.xz.cn are strictly for free versions of plugins. You can find the contact form as described above. Thank you for understanding.
