Also, a follow up, does an email with the invoice send automatically to the person if a recurring payment is set up?

Unfortunately we do not have this option as recurring billing is when the system automatically takes out specified amount.
For the second question, since the payment is taken out automatically, we could only send out the receipt for that particular payment.
FYI, this seems like it should be included. Maybe for a future release? Every single company that I have ever seen that takes automatic payments will send you an email the day of, or the day before the automatic payment is taken out. To warn you that it is happening. There really should be the ability to send a notice ahead of time. You already have the dates in the system. You can already send auto emails based on triggers using wp-crm, so How hard would it be to have the website automatically send an email based on the subscription dates you use when you set up recurring billing?
