Automatically Index Folders

    Is there a way to index the image folders via CRON JOB rather than manually going to the admin page and triggering it that way?

    This is imperative in making this work for me, as I have an automated FTP process that uploads the images as they come in from our remote cameras, and they need to be added to the site without user intervention.

    🙂 Thanks for the update. Would a work-around be possible in the interim, i.e. along the lines of calling the admin page or another php file in the plugin directly?

    The image collector is an ajax script, so I doubt if it would work when you call an admin page.
    Maybe if you call the admin pages of the folder(s) seperately, but you have to have a user signed in authorized to upload images.

    I also need a way to automatically scan and index the folders on a regular basis to check for new images that are externally synchronized.

    Is there any update on this capability?
