Automatically Set Random Featured Image

    Hi friends, I’ve looked hi and low.

    I want each post, if a featured image has not been chosen, to just pick an image from a folder and set that as the featured image.

    It could choose an image at random, or it could just pick the next unused image in the folder.

    I’m looking for this function as well and have tried loads of plugins with Random Post Thumbnail being the closest http://ww.wp.xz.cn/extend/plugins/random-post-thumbnail

    But you have to manually push a button to attach featured images to old post, it does not automatically do this for new posts.

    Now if someone could modify the code we might have a winner here.

    The suffusion theme will automatically use an image from the post. That’s closer but still not the whole cigar.
