Automation stoped working

    Hi,

    I have two automations that don’t work anymore.
    Trigger is: User submits specific Elementor form.
    Action is: Add role to user

    It worked in the past but stopped now.

    Settings of the automation are:

     Type: Logged-in

     Times per user: 1

    Total times: 0

    Any idea how to solve that?

    Hi @aicomp ,

    I noticed that you configured this automation with the “Times per user: 1”. That means that each user can only trigger this automation once. When you are testing this automation, please remember to do it with an account that didn’t trigger it before.

    Also, please check if the form that you are using to try this automation is the same that is specified in the trigger options.

    All of that is not part of the issue. The automation worked in the past with the same form and we tested with a fresh user.

    okay…my fault. I found the error. As I left the “user” field empty to assign the automation to every user who send the form, the automation really starts only 1 time even if different users send the form. So, Times per user must be 0.

    Sorry, it worked for one automation cycle and then stopped again. The two automations with the Elementor form don’t work. All other automations work as expected.

    Any idea?

    As an additional information: The logs to each automation look good. Just the result doesn’t happen

    My forms have different names to their IDs. Might that cause a conflict? Or any caching plugin?

    Hi @aicomp ,

    Yes, it seems that a cache plugin is interfering with this automation.

    I recommend you to perform a conflict test with all installed plugin, including the cache ones.

    The conflict test is really simple, the unique you need is to switch to a default WordPress theme (to check that conflict doesn’t comes from your theme):

    And deactivate plugins one-by-one to find who is causing this issue.
