• Since upgrading from Ninja Forms 2.9++ to the overhauled new version of 3.5 the forms are not showing up. Autoptimize seems to be one of the issues conflicting. The forms work fine with the TwentyFifteen theme activated (my current theme is also creating issues and I have contacted the developer) and all of my other plugins updated and working.

    On the Ninja Forms website someone else commented on having issues with Autoptimize as well and they needed to exclude the Ninja files from being optimized.

    Website page with issue of not showing the form (using my theme and autoptimize activated): http://rugs.tenthousandvillages.com/about/contact-us/

    Thanks for your help,
    Heike

    OK, what are your autoptimize JS optimization settings;
    * is “force JS in head” active? can you deactivate?
    * is js/jquery/jquery.js excluded from JS optimization? if not, can you add that?

    Frank,

    I’ve done all kinds of configuration in Autoptimize, have the js/….js added and the form only shows up if JS is unchecked in Autoptimize.

    Before digging any deeper here I think I will need to connect with Ninja Forms again. For now I have the forms rolled back to an earlier version and that works with the most updated version of Autoptimize. I’ll keep checking back to see what others are experiencing.

    Thanks,
    Heike

    OK, keep me informed. I’ll be happy to help if you can reproduce the problem somewhere (on a non-production website?).

    I am having a similar problem but it seems to be with W3 Total Cache. When Ninja forms 3 is activated I cannot edit pages. I go to pages > All pages > then pick one and edit – all I get is a blank page. Ninjaforms disabled W3 Total Cache enabled and its good. Conversely W3 Total Cache disabled and Ninja forms enabled – and not good.

    I realize W3 isn’t yours… just adding a comment as something else to look at by others seeing the same thing.
