Autoptimize Warnings RE: Cache Size

I keep getting Autoptimize Warning me of the cache size is getting too big. That’s fine by me but, what is the disadvantages of ignoring it?
The reason why I ask is that I have been ignoring it because I would prefer a higher page speed for increase rankings in Google Mobile Search and just put up with the warnings.

well, if your cache size grows, your site isn’t performing optimally neither because that implies AO is generating new files too regularly (which slows that request down) and your users are downloading different files instead of re-using the same cached one.
so the easiest solution; disable the aggregation in inline JS. if you don’t want (or can’t) do that, you could try to identify that specific inline JS that is changing across pages/ page loads and exclude that from optimization.
