    Hello,

after the last wocommerce update we had an error in wocommerce. If we deactivate “Merge JS files” the error disappears, but unfortunately the files are not merged. Thank you for your help.

    Best Regards Marius

when “merge JS” is active, what JS errors are shown on the browser console Marius? and are the errors also there when “don’t aggregate but defer” is activated?

hi, only a white screen. No errors. We haven’t tested that yet

    hi, only a white screen.

in that case there is very likely relevant info in your PHP errorlog, can (have someone) check that?

    can you?

the following errors are shown when “merge JS” is active (see Screenshot)

Same issue when “don’t aggregate but defer” is activate.

    Tanks for your help

OK, that looks like a combination of “http 504” timeouts (from nginx) and “file not found” (http 404) for some Autoptimize JS-files. It looks like you have both W3 Total Cache to do page caching and Nginx page caching, does the problem persist when both pages caches are purged?

    Thread Starter marius71

    (@marius71)

yes, also when page caches are purged.
Is is possible that you take a look at our Backend?

afraid I don’t log into backends in the context of support here Marius (and exchanging credentials is forbidden here), but do you have a staging-site where you could leave things broken so I can review on the frontend?

ah, what might be helpful; try excluding wp-content/themes or wp-content/plugins from JS optimization, that might give us a hint where the not-to-be optimized JS is located?

    any update marius71 ?

No feedback so I assume this got resolved marius71 ? Feel free to follow up if you still encounter issues!

    have a nice day!
