Hello Roshan!
I’m glad you reached out, and thank you for the video, it’s helpful to see that. By looking at your settings and booking calendar, I suspect there’s some confusion about the timezones.
All the times are shifted down 5 hours because you’re using the Localized setting in the appointment types. This will automatically detect the user’s timezone and change the times to reflect their times.
I see that the booking calendar is detecting your timezone as Asia/Calcutta. What timezone are you using in the admin settings?
Go to SSA Settings > General Settings > Timezone – https://ssappts.com/guides/general-settings/#timezone-for-the-booking-calendar
If that admin timezone looks correct, and that’s the timezone you want everyone to see in the front-end, I’d recommend you use the Locked setting in the appointment type.
Please see this guide for more information on the Locked vs Localized setting – https://ssappts.com/guides/appointment-type-settings/#appointment-timezone
Let me know if you have more questions,
Natalie G
Hi Support,
We are using Universal timezone in admin setting of the plugin.
Please tell me, Is that the correct timezone setting?
Thanks!
Roshan
@roshankhan
That depends on whether you personally reside in the UTC timezone area – https://www.timeanddate.com/worldclock/timezone/utc
Is that the correct time and date for you?
Thanks,
Natalie G
We usually recommend you use the Location-based timezones, that follow the Region/City pattern. For example, Australia/Melbourne.
They’re contextual and will take daylight savings time into consideration, here’s a guide with more information on picking the right timezone https://ssappts.com/guides/timezones-and-offsets/
