Available Updates Trigger not sending notification

    Hello,
    I want to create an E-Mail Notification for available WordPress-/Themes-/Plugin-Updates. I used your “Available Updates”-Trigger for that Notification but I don’t receive any E-Mails for that Trigger. I already tested with a different Notification if my Wp-Site sends E-Mails,which worked perfectly. I tried to look at Settings if I can make change to make it work but that didn’t help either. I checked the Enable “Updates available trigger”,”Send updates email even if no updates available” and set the Update check period to Once Hourly. I enabled e-mail notifications as well. Is there a way to force a Update Test? I hope you can help me find a solution. Thanks for your answer in advance!

    Hi, it’s based on the Cron, so if your WordPress doesn’t spawn any cron events then it’s not going to work.

    However, we received another notice that this trigger is not working so we have to check that.

    Hey, the notification work now and I receive emails as planned! It detects all Plugin/Themes-Updates. The only problem is, that it doesn’t detect general WordPress-Updates like it seems. My site currently uses WordPress-Version 5.0.3 but 5.1 is already avaiable to update. Sadly the notification don’t show these type of updates. Hope you can help me and thanks for your answer in advance!

    Awesome that it’s working! I’ll take a look into this trigger and see what’s going on. I had signals from other people that it’s malfunctioning.

    Hi, we confirm the issue but no solution yet 🙁 for some reason the function used to check the updates doesn’t return anything when called from the plugin, but it does when called from the theme.

    Hey, i just saw that there was a major update and i have read the changelog but couldn’t figure out for sure if the issue was fixed.
    [Fixed] Theme Update trigger errors on update.
    Does that mean that the trigger detects new WordPress-Updates now? Thanks for your answer in advance!
