    Hi there! I’m using an older version of your plugin 1.4 I think… I am keen not to update as I like it’s simplicity and it is working for me. However I would like to add the ability to limit the subscribers avatar file size (which I see you have now in newer versions) – perhaps there is a small piece of code I could manually add into my version to get this feature without having to upgrade all the way? My site has a lot going on so I’d prefer not to experiment with a full update unless absolutely necessary. Could you supply me with a code snippet instead?

    Also do these avatars show up in google search as thumbnails or is that something totally different? Thanks for your help!

    I added the size limiter in version 1.5, which is available on this page: http://ww.wp.xz.cn/plugins/wp-user-avatar/developers/. You can try that version and revert to 1.4 if necessary. The code isn’t a single “snippet” that I can give you, as there are multiple functions in different places.

    I assume you mean the images used for Google Authorship? Those images come from your Google+ profile.
