Avoid bad requests

GTMetrix has noted this bad request
The following requests are returning 404/410 responses. Either fix the broken links, or remove the references to the non-existent resources.

While there is a fontawesome in the font folder it is not being recognized. Version issue probably.

Specify a cache validator

Generally I can set eTag in my htaccess but I don’t know the syntax for something this complicated. Could the tag be set in the CSS file. Your help to set either place would be greatly appreciated.
