Avoid Duplicate metadescriptions for ?taxonomy=&term=

    Hello,

    I have a notice in Webmastertools that says there is some duplicate metadescriptions for homepage url and mydomain.com/?taxonomy=&term=someterms. Is there a way to avoid them?
    I use wp 2.9 and Simple Taxonomy module and I disabled the canonical tags for my wp.
