Avoid optional review fields counting as zero when empty

    Hi, when I add review fields, the overall rating is calculated as average of those review fileds. When I make some of these review fields optional and nothing is entered, the systems seems to count this as 0 which drives down the average. Is is possible to set optional fields to n/a when nothing is entered so it doesn’t get counted into the average? Thanks

    Hi Alex,

    Unfortunately, It is not possible to set optional fields to n/a when nothing is entered. We understand that if the Required option for these review fields starts working, it will solve your problem of users submitting empty reviews. As we mentioned before we have noted down this issue and we will provide an update soon to fix this error.

    Noted, thanks. Understand it’s not working now, perhaps you can keep in mind as an additional feature. E.g. some review fields might only be applicable to some products, hence it should be possible to leave them empty without impacting the overall rating. Thanks for considering.
