• I am new to wordpress – Recently I have activated Cloud flare for my domain. and make a Sub-domain under that, which will be only for members..using Buddypress.. Since the main domain is connected with Cloud flare, I believe the sub-domains are also served through the cloud flare name servers..

I am trying to find a solution to stop serving cached files for the Logged in Users.. My main domain I have connected to Cloud flare through W3 Total Cache, however when I tried it with Sub-domain it stopped updating the real time notifications..

If any one have a solution for this, please advise..

  • You have a couple options:

    1) Disable CloudFlare for the subdomain. You do this by going into the DNS settings on the CloudFlare control panel, and clicking on the orange cloud so it turns gray.

    2) Set a Page Rule – Again from the control panel you can set a page rule to disable caching and other CloudFlare features for the subdomain.
