    Hi

I am a happy user of your nice plugin.

After a recent update there started coming the blue circled icons if there is no image in the feed. Is there a way to supress that icon?

I know that I can place thumb=”no” – but in some feeds there are a few images that I would like to show. So it would be nice just to avoid showing the blue icon. And before the recent update there was no icons.

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

  • Hi @knutrn!

Thanks for choosing Feedzy, we’re glad you like it!

Unfortunately it’s not possible to display a featured image only for the posts that have one. If the featured image option is enabled, Feedzy will display a default image for the posts that don’t have one.

    Have a nice day!

    Hi @knutrn,

Apologies for the confusion, if you’re using a shortcode you can pass some value for the “default” it can be another image or you can keep it as “no” and then no image will be shown instead of that default blue Feedzy icon.

    For example:
    [feedzy-rss feeds="http://rss.cnn.com/rss/edition_world.rss" default="no"]

    I hope it helps!
