Hi,
Could you try checking for a plugin conflict? Deactivate all other plugins and see if that helps. If it does help, then reactivate the plugins one at a time until you find the culprit(s), if any.
Thanks,

Not a plugin issue. Any other suggestions?
I too am having the same problem.
I have the same issue.
Funny thing, I have two installs on this domain. The root domain WP is correct. The install in the domain.com/folder won’t get correct. It’s 7 hours behind the WordPress setting.
More on this story:
I have time zone set to New York:
UTC time is 2014-10-10 15:41:41 Local time is 2014-10-10 11:41:41
iThemes: 7:42 am on Friday October 10th, 2014
Change time zone to UTC-5 UTC time is 2014-10-10 15:43:54 Local time is 2014-10-10 10:43:54
iThemes: 10:44 am on Friday October 10th, 2014
Definitely a plugin problem
Did some more research. “Ajax Event Calender” is the culprit. De-activated it and iThemes shows time correctly.
Also, if you set the time zone to a manual one (UTC-4), Event Calender complains you have not chosen a city.
