I have several VPS in MS Azure and several in AWS Lightsail. All are on Debian 11 with the same configurations and versions of WordPress. In those on AWS Lightsail plugin does not work. Any idea what could be different that prevents it from working. I do every step as described in both places but in AWS Lightsail I cannot delete the cache.

  • Hey! This plugin is not for AWS Lightsail, but for the Hestia Control Panel.

    🙂 maybe I should check if I’m using wordpress…
Of course I’m using it on a standard Debian 11 installation with Hestia CP – the best CP for me after many many tests with other :).

I have 20 vps. The ones in AWS Lightsail plugin doesn’t work. On the ones in MS Azure it works. All the settings and versions of everything are the same. Where should I look for the reason.

I found the problem. In AWS Lightsail is need to add Public server IP in Hestia Enable API IP list (and in Firewall if is have Hestia port restriction by IP). So do you have any idea why in AWS Lightsail not make action by 127.0.0.1 but frim Public IP Address?

I think @jaapmarcus might know the details better, but this is considered normal behaviour. The installation steps do mention that you need to add both 127.0.0.1 as well as your public IP.

Add hostname.domain.com 127.0.0.1 to your host file and it should take preference when making the call
