The plugin uses the WordPress native security system of Roles and Capabilities. Since you are not using the Awesome Support built-in roles for your users, you need to update the roles you are using. So first you should take a look at your user profiles to see which roles you are using. Then, using a plugin like USER ROLE EDITOR, add the Awesome support security Capabilities to those roles. There are 5 security capabilities that need to be added and they are listed in the link I gave you earlier.
