Hi eeeduuu,
We suggest it from some plugin you install on your site, about security, check all request need authorize. Please disable each plugin to check. About wp_remote_get, it send by LP to check site has enable wp_remote of WP or not. It has from old version LP v4.1.7.3.2
Thanks.
Hi,
You can contact the manager of your server, they will check and fix that for you. wp_remote_get is the issue of the server.
Thanks
Hello brianvu,
In response to your suggestions:
- I have deactivated all plugins except LearnPress and the problem persists.
- On the same website, I run PHP code developed by me that make “wp_remote_get” and “wp_remote_post” requests without problems, so it is not a permissions problem of my hosting server.
- The problem has appeared after upgrading LearnPress from version “4.2.5.4” to version “4.2.5.9” (I keep a full backup of the entire installation – files and DB).
- As far as I have been able to check, despite the error that appears in the backend, everything works fine. But it is a nuisance the message that appears on each page and that occupies 1/3 of the screen.
Any suggestions?
P.S. When I am working with LearnPress items (courses, lessons, etc), an overwritten text appears on top of the items which is very annoying because if it is printed on top of a button or link, it cannot be selected.
I attach a screenshot where I have hunted the message between two lines to make it look good.

Hi eeeduuu,
It strange, firt time we support has user error like that, can you go to https://ww.wp.xz.cn/plugins/learnpress/ and find support, create a ticket, we’ll check and find reason when has info.
Thanks.
Hello,
I’m sorry but I don’t quite understand your answer.
- Are you saying that I have to create another ticket in LearnPress (“https://ww.wp.xz.cn/plugins/learnpress/”)? Is this ticket that I have open no good?
- Have you been able to see the screenshot I added just a few minutes ago with the annoying message in the middle of the screen? It’s a message for me to rate the plugin.
Thanks
Hi eeeduuu,
Are you saying that I have to create another ticket in LearnPress (“https://ww.wp.xz.cn/plugins/learnpress/”)? Is this ticket that I have open no good?
=> Because some rule of WP, we don’t have info your site to check it, so we don’t know issues come from.
Have you been able to see the screenshot I added just a few minutes ago with the annoying message in the middle of the screen? It’s a message for me to rate the plugin.
=> On my site don’t show like that, you can see the image, it show normally.
Thanks.
Hello,
I’m sorry, but I don’t quite understand your explanations. Tell me how I have to proceed so that you have the information you need to try to solve the problem.
Regarding the second message that appears in the middle of the screen, I see that in your screen copy it appears well, but in my environment it does not look good since I updated the plugin.
I have created a development environment that more or less reproduces the error, in case you would like to see what happens.
