Does or does not work? If does not, can you provide a link to your webpage illustrating the issue? Can you also state which colour you’ve changed it to?
I can t change my background at all.. any colour i choose I doesn’t work.
It’s working for me. What version of WordPress do you have installed? Are you trying to change the background color by setting it in the custom CSS panel or via the Background page under Appearance?
I m using wordpress 3.5.1.
And yes I m trying to do it in Background under Appearance ?
If I had to guess, I’d say there was some other plugin causing a conflict, then. As I said, I have it running on my blog (http://jazzsequence.com) and the background works just fine. Do you have a URL you can post a link to so I can take a look at it?
Looks like it’s working to me: https://www.evernote.com/shard/s19/sh/15322c65-ffac-4c76-896d-326ceaf34bde/1584ae98b562c86a8600076a3924c95c
The default background color is #efefef which is being overridden by the color in the body.custom-background class. Presumably that’s the color you picked.

Frunzamc, have you cleared your browser’s cache?
That would be my next guess.
