I’m currently using mail chimp and have a template that has two headers and two footers. The primary header and primary footer have the same background color as do the secondary header & secondary footer that are the same color too, but different than the primary header/footer. How can I do this in mail poet 3? I don’t see the ability to apply colors to the background except the entire newsletter and then the background space around the newsletter.

    Thanks

  • Hi,

You create 4 content blocks (columns), and then change the background color for each by hovering the content block and clicking the settings icon:

Is it possible to link an image into a header? If I use the image block, the background color can’t be customized differently than the main body of the email.

An additional question is can I do anything in a header or footer besides type text? insert dividers? Insert images? insert columns? The only reason I want an additional header/footer is to be able to to apply a color to the background different than they body of the newsletter. I still need to be able to design within it.

    Re,

Header and footer are all optional. However, you need to have an unsubscribe link somewhere inside your newsletter that you can add via a shortcode. As long as you have that, you can design your content block(s) as you wish! Here’s an example: https://i.imgur.com/oM5GqhY.png
