Hi,
Its not a theme error.
Adding that search box on the top did this thing.
Kindly check what you did and check if removing it resolves the issue. Means error is coming only after adding the search box above the images.
No, it was doing this before I added the search box.
It can’t be because we have tested this theme several times and it is 1.4 version (12 versions later).
Can’t be a mistake from our end otherwise many would have reported the same problem.
Kindly check on a totally different wordpress site by applying the theme.
It can also be caused by using a very large image above 3000px width or height.
Please stop marking the issue as resolved when it is not yet resolved.
I have acknowledged that when I used the theme locally, it worked. However, it is now showing the issue mentioned above.
You have suggested removing the search box. It was doing this before I put the search box in, but I did remove it, just to double check. The issue still exists with the search box removed.
I went back and resized all my images to less than 3000px in both height and width. The issue persists (and actually, got worse.)
We would really like to use this theme for our website. Please help me find a solution to this issue.
Send us WordPress username and password and ftp details (ftp details are important because yours is a special case and we have to check the code).
Sorry for posting with other username. Previous username blocked for unknown reasons.

Please don’t ask for FTP credentials, that is beyond your responsibility.
@andrew: What to do. The guy keeps on saying it is a problem of our theme and makes this topic un resolved.
We know there is no problem with the theme otherwise for over 60k downloads there would have hundreds reporting the same error.
If we don’t support then they will go ahead and place a bad review.

You don’t have to tackle these issues all by yourself, the community are here to help out. But the issue looks like it can be debugged from a browser.
The script has been altered for sure since the pause also doesn’t work.
So we can’t debug from browser. Slides keep on changing and we can’t pause them and check

You can view the original JS file and compare it to the modified version to spot the difference: http://diffchecker.com/
Which file do you think was modified? Maybe it’s easier if I can help you out here.
Okay testimonials rotator script is conflicting from the slider. Strangely though it is showing well for 2 slides and not for 3 slides. Try to keep the dimension of image same as those 2 for the other 3.
If still problem persists try disabling the testimonials rotator and then check. From what i could see that is one cause.
Thanks! I’ll go try that in a bit and report back!
And FWIW, I wouldn’t post a negative review for this issue. It is clearly something I’ve done, I was just asking for help pinpointing it since you are more knowledgeable and familiar with the files. π
I removed both the search box and the testimonial slider to hopefully help with identifying the cause of the issue.
Also, at the request of my boss, I had to switch out one of the pictures/slides. I made sure it was similar in size to the two that were working, but it’s also experiencing the issue.
Let me know if there is anything else I can do to help solve this. I’ve combed through everything myself, but I can’t figure it out! I’m bringing in my laptop tomorrow (that’s where it was hosted locally) so I can compare the files and see if I can find it.
The easy fix: Updating the theme resolved the issue. π
