    I apologize if I missed the answer to this when looking through the other forum submissions, but I’m hoping you can help me resolve a styling issue:

    It appears the custom background image I’m uploading is being darkened / having some sort of shadowing put over it / being recolored somehow. Here is a screenshot which shows the difference in color between the image I’ve uploaded to my site’s media library (that I would like to have serve as the widget’s background without any change to its colors), and what that image looks like when the widget is displayed in my interior page sidebar: http://screencast.com/t/SYLkDEkUBA.

    In case it would be helpful to have, here is a screenshot of my current settings for the widget: http://screencast.com/t/MHMPllbU4c.

    Thank you in advance for any help you can give me!

    There is a darken element placed over the background image to make the white text more legible. It can be removed by adding this CSS to your style.css file in your them folder:

    .awesome-weather-darken { background: none; }
