Background Slider functionality problem

Hi
I have tried several plugins to add a Background Slider.
I cant get it to work.
Looking in support section of each plugin i have tried, i see that other people have had the same issue, it just doesnt work. But no one has answered with a solution.
Maybe its my theme (i suspect this) ?
I have installed the plugins the right way, and tried differrent settings.

I am using Artisteer themes.
(These can add a slider in the theme, but thats an “add-slider” type of function, no background-slider (therefore i am trying a plugin)

Anyone knows?
