    Hello

I make math quizzes on my math lessons website. As you’d expect, I use LaTeX to type math formulas.
LaTeX syntax requires the use of backslashes, e.g. \frac{1}{2} gives the fraction “one half”.

Here is my problem : I noticed yesterday that the backslashes I type in the answers fields get deleted when I save the questions.

Please note that this was not always the case, as I have made a quiz late August this year and it worked perfectly fine; I believe this is subsequent to a recent update to the plugin.

Is there a solution? Should I downgrade the plugin to the August version, hope it works, and roll with that, or is there a fix to this?

Thank you for reading me and have a nice day.

    Dear @gaetanramos,

    Thank you for the topic.

I want to mention, that there was a problem like this connected to the backslashes before, which has already been solved.
At the moment, we can suggest you downgrade to the old version of the plugin.

We will surely create an option with the help of which you will be able to enable/disable the removal of the backslashes in the upcoming update of the plugin and will let you know about it.

    Thank you.

    Dear @gaetanramos,

I am glad to inform you that we have already added the Disable strip slashes for answers option in the latest version of the plugin and updated it accordingly.

    See the screenshot: https://ibb.co/vckW39Z

So, you can update the plugin to the latest version and check the case again.

    Thank you.
