Backup Database failed

    I’m trying to backup a site using Optimize Database after Deleting Revisions but it’s failing :-
    Database Failed To Backup On ’19 Sep 16 @ 9:18 am’. Backup File Size Is 0KB.

    The warning message is as follows :-
    Warning: escapeshellarg() has been disabled for security reasons in /home/[ADDRESSREMOVED]/public_html/archive/wp-content/plugins/wp-dbmanager/database-backup.php on line 51

    Please could someone help me to fix this problem ?

    Hey Mark,

    Seems like your provider increased the security of your site (safe mode?).
    Apparently the use of escapeshellarg() has been switched off.
    So contact them and ask what they did…

    That seems to be correct – my provider says that scapeshellarg() had been disabled in php.ini so they have removed it from the blocklist.

    It seems to be working now.
