I have a message that pops up from elementor :

“Elementor Data Updater The database update process runs in the background. Is it taking too long?”

I was looking to “click here to run it now” but I was hoping to make a backup first so nothing was getting screwed up…

    Hey @krisax ,

Please navigate to plugin section “What will be backed up?” and add this folder to exclusion rules: /wp-content/cache/object/

    Then run the backup again.

    Kind regards

I think I did the exclusion rules as you write, However the error remains?

    Hello @krisax ,

I’ve just checked your latest blog – you have not excluded the mentioned folder. Please make sure that you SAVE settings after you manually add new exclusion rule, then run the backup again.

    Kind regards

I did add to exlude the path, and it was saved. Both in “exclude by file path” and “exclude by directory path”.
However I added ” /wp-content/cache/object” instead of  “/wp-content/cache/object/”. I have now updated to the latter, and tested again. The problem remain unfortunately…

    Hi @krisax

The issue with caching plugins should be resolved in latest release.

If you still experience the issue, please try to change backup method:

    1. Go to “Other options” section
    2. Change backup method: https://prnt.sc/1s1ofpa
    3. Disable PHP CLI checking: https://prnt.sc/1sljr31
    4. Save “Other options” section
    5. Force stop both processes: https://prnt.sc/1trv1tm

Let me know if you have further questions 🙂
    Thank you!
