    Hi,
I am Akeeba backup Version 1.2.1.2, on WordPress 4.1.
When I back up my site, I can’t find the backup file using FTP.
The output directory is set to: /wp-content/plugins/akeebabackupcore/app/backups, but there are only ‘.htaccess’, ‘index.html’, and ‘webconfig’ files in that folder.
When I click on ‘Manage Backups’, there are 4 successful backups listed, but these are not showing up on the server.
    Can you help please?
    Thanks, Alan

First go to the Manage Backups page of the plugin. You need to make sure that the status of the backups is OK, not Obsolete. OK means it is on the server. Obsolete means it has been deleted. Pending means in progress and never finished. Failed means exactly what it reads.

Next to each backup you will also see the backup profile. If it’s different than profile 1 note it down. Then go to the plugin’s main page and select that backup profile from the drop-down list.

No go to the Configuration page. Under output directory you will see where the backups are stored on your server.

Not an issue. Marking as resolved.
