I see 4 to six files with BACKUP and a date appended for most wp_wpda_* files in my database. I am confident I could just delete them, but thought that may be unintentional and of interest to you.

    Hi Ben,

These backup files are created whenever something changes in the repository. You can delete them. The plugin can do that for you as well:
    – Navigate to WP Data Access menu > Manage Plugin
    – Click tab Manage Repository
    – Click button Delete ? old backup tables
If you uncheck “Keep backup of repository tables” the plugin will stop making backup tables.

I’ll come back to your question about roles as soon as possible. I’m working on a new feature to support roles within the plugin. I’ll let you know when it is available.

    Best regards,
    Peter
