    Hi there

I was developing a website on a regular hosting. On this site, I created a backup. I saved this backup on my local laptop and uploaded it to the new website, which is running on elementor cloud.

The updload stopped at 50% and did not move on any further. I waited more than 40mins, no progress since then. Could you please have a look at it?

    Debug code: BMI-GoituaQj-06997

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

    Hi @endiaggli

Please to try to install latest beta on the website where you’re trying to restore: https://backupbliss.com/downloads/plugins/bmi-betas/backup-backup-1.2.7.4.zip

Start the restoration once again to check if that will make any difference.

If that won’t help at all, you may need to make new backup (but if you can’t do that, it’s still fine, we can adjust your current backup).

In case beta plugin won’t help with restoration:

    1. Go to the website you want to migrate
    2. Exclude WP Installation form the backup
    3. Make new backup

Sometimes, while migrating between hosts, the environment may be different, especially modules in use. In such cases .htaccess file or .user.ini file may cause a lot of troubles.

These files are usually located in WP Directory which is not required to perform full migration.

Then once you run the restoration, please make sure:
    a) Your PC won’t go into sleep-mode
    b) Screen-saver mode is not enabled or active
    c) [Mac] Drive-sleep mode is not enabled
    d) You have not run the restoration from Opera GX or Brave browser
    e) You don’t use any extension that limits resource usage or “saves energy”

Let me know if that resolves your issue 🙂
    Thank you!

As we didn’t hear any reply in last days.
I can assume that you resolved the issue.

Feel free to open new topic if I am wrong!
    Thank you 🙂
