I’m currently using Updraft Plus to backup multiple sites to Google drive, all using different API projects.

Even though all the sites were being backed up to the same folder, the existing backups section for each website only showed the backups belonging to that site, as expected. This changed in a recent update and now backups from other websites I manage and backup are being pulled in. It looks like instead of searching for backups based off their ID, it’s now just showing everything in my Google Drive Updraft folder.

Is there a configuration problem with my sites, or is this a bug with the system?

What are my options? Is this something that will be fixed, or do I need to buy the Google Drive enhancement.

    Hi,

This is expected. When UpdraftPlus scans the remote storage, it will register any backups it finds.

Just to clarify – you have to have explicitly clicked the “Rescan remote storage” link before it shows you backups from other sites. That’s the intended function of that link, but it doesn’t happen until you click on it.

Would the Google Drive enhancement solve this by adding a separate folder per site?
