Hello @roberto21
Please wait a while then try it again to make sure that it’s not a network issue.
Also, please make sure that you are using the latest version of WPvivid Backup Plugin.
Let us know if that resolves the issue.
All the best,
WPvivid Support Team
I doubt very much that is a network issue. I have another site, with backup sent to the same google drive,, that works ok, whereas I have been getting this error since three-four hours now
Yes,I I am running the latest vertsion.
Hello,
To ensure a successful backup, please update the WPvivid plugin settings with the following configurations. Once updated, initiate a new backup task.
General settings:
1. Uncheck the option of ‘Merge all the backup files into single package when a backup completes’
Advanced settings:
1. Database access method: PDO
2. Compression method: PCLzip
3. Compress files every: 100 MB
4. Exclude the files which are larger than: 200MB
5. PHP script execution timeout for backup: 300 seconds
6. PHP memory limit for a backup task: 512 or 1024 MB
7. The number of files compressed to the backup zip each time: 300
8. Split a sql file every this size: 100 MB
Kind regards.
Hello,
I have the same problem, the recommended update plugin settings did not help.
the errors listed are:
Warning: opendir(/wp-content/wpvividbackups/wpvivid_log/): failed to open dir: No such file or directory in /wp-content/plugins/wpvivid-backuprestore/includes/class-wpvivid.php on line 6214
Warning: opendir(/wp-content/wpvividbackups/wpvivid_log/): failed to open dir: No such file or directory in /wp-content/plugins/wpvivid-backuprestore/includes/class-wpvivid.php on line 6214
Sorry to hear that. Unfortunately, I cannot help you here: since also for me the suggestions did not work, (but I did not have the error messages you mention) I tried with another plugin, which worked without problems. Then I unistalled wpvivid, reinstalled it, and the problem disappeared. Now I am monitoring the scheduled backups to see if really the thingamajic works.
Hello @roberto21
Glad that the issue disappeared after you reinstalled the plugin. Please let us know if you need any further information or assistance.
All the best,

Warning: opendir(/wp-content/wpvividbackups/wpvivid_log/): failed to open dir: No such file or directory in /wp-content/plugins/wpvivid-backuprestore/includes/class-wpvivid.php on line 6214
From the error message, the error appeared because the file ‘wpvivid-backuprestore/includes/class-wpvivid.php’ could not be opened on your site.
So, please first use file manger to check whether the file still exists in the plugin folder, see the attached screenshot.
If it exists, then please make sure that the file permission is writable.
If it does not exist, it could have been deleted by other apps. You can reinstall WPvivid Backup Plugin and see if that solves the issue.
All the best,
