    this issue is ongoing.

it still does not backup now even after deleting/reinstalling and checking all configs.

unfortunately i’m having to use updraft plus now which is so tedious since they make you download 5 folders for every backup…

    Hi,

Thanks for the update, and I’m sorry the issue is still ongoing.

We’ve not been able to replicate this on our end, so just to narrow things down —

    • Are you on the latest version of BackWPUp (5.2.1)?
    • Is the issue happening only when using the “Backup Now” button?
    • Do you see any error in the browser console or logs when clicking it?

Once we have a bit more context, we’ll be able to investigate better and help sort this out for you.

Yes, I also stated I completely uninstalled and reinstalled the plugin (ie: not just update)

    5.2.1 on WP 6.8.1

When I click backup now nothing happens after the popup with start button. no progress bar or anything. no backups appear in the backups list

Yes, I see some Console errors after clicking start and when the modal goes away.

    Hi,

    Thank you for your reply.

Did you try running basic troubleshooting by deactivating other plugins to see if it helps?

    Best Regards,
