    Hi, I am a paid user, but haven’t received a response on my last inquiry.

    We just got pro and backed up the site, and I need to know if the staging site was backed up too? Also, the staging site says “Status: unfinished or broken”. How do I fix this?

    We are about to switch hosting and I need some guidance on this. Should I push changes right away then switch hosts or upload the staging site once we switch the host? Guidance would be greatly appreciated.

    I replied to your email yesterday, it’s this one ko**wo**@gmail.com, please double-check the SPAM folder.

    Anyway, if you created the backup from the live site’s dashboard, then it’s for the live site only, and it doesn’t include the staging site. To create a backup of the staging site, you need to create the backup from the staging site’s dashboard.

    If the current staging site is working fine and still shows the “Status: unfinished or broken” message, then you can ignore it, most probably back in the past you followed this guide to reconnect the staging site, hence you got this message.

    I recommend pushing the staging site to the live site first on the old hosting. Once you are sure everything is looking okay on the live site, you can migrate the live site from the old hosting to the new one. Check this guide.

    So strange, I don’t have an previous response in my spam or regular folders.

    Regardless, thanks for getting back to me. When pushing changes, do I do this from the staging site’s dashboard or the live site’s dashboard? The video doesn’t explain this.

    The pushing process must be initiated from the live site, I didn’t share the guide to push a staging site to the live site in my previous reply, here it’s:
