backup stuck

    Hello,

    Im using your plugin for more than one year without problems. Now i cant take a complete backup because it gets stuck. If i start a backup only for database everything is ok.
    Maybe the problem started after your latest update, but not for sure because i added some new plugins for better gtmetrix results.I tried deleting the the plugins i added lately and also deleting your plugin and reinstal it but nothing of those 2 helped.

    Hi Angelo,

    Apologies for the delay.

    It shows that the backup process is timed out or killed off.

    Could you try to reduce the backup archive split size. This will split the backup into smaller, more manageable files.

    To do this, open the ‘expert settings’ section of the UpdraftPlus Settings tab, and find the ‘split backups every’ option. Set this to 100Mb or 50Mb, save your settings and run a new backup.

    Does the backup successfully completes now?

    I tried several times 50Mb and 25Mb but it stuck again.

    Hi Angelo,

    I would suggest asking your host/server admin to check on the PHP error log. It should contain the exact error as to why the backup gets stuck.
