    Hi,
The backup on our site is stuck on “Adding batch to zip file”.
I tried reducing the split file size to 300MB, still failed with the same log messages.
I tried reducing the split file size to 25MB, still failed with the same log messages.

    Here is the log:

What could be the cause for this?

    Hi,

How many minutes after beginning the backup did you download that log? If it was less than 45, please can you do a fresh one?

    Hi,
I’m not sure but probably less than 45.

I performed a new backup, came back to it after an hour and it indeed succeeded.
That’s strange, why does it take so long?

    Hi,

It is possible that the backup process is being timed out relatively quickly by the server. In this case, the backup will wait 5 minutes before resuming.

If the backup is timed out repeatedly, this adds to the total backup time.

If you can send us a copy of the new log, we can provide some advice on shortening the backup time.
The contents will be too long to post here directly, but you can use an online service such as pastebin, and post the link here.
