I have created a dropbox account and verified it. But when I go to BackWPup and select Dropbox as backup option, it still asks to Create a Account (even though DropBox is logged in), and it keeps on showing Not Verified. You can check the screenshot.
Hello @raunhar, can you please try again, but this time add authentication code to “App access to dropbox” field. Check if this completes the authentication or not.
Did you try – click on “Get Dropbox App auth code.” it’ll open a new tab and allow the app to generate auth code. Doing this, does it work? I tried again but not facing the issue you are seeing.

In the “Network” tab of the browser’s developer tools (press F12 on the keyboard), we can see what’s happening. Record the content of the “cloudsaveandtest” and “updatejob” entries when they click the “Save & Test Connection” button?
On few wordpress installations, I was able to configure dropbox backup. But on a particular wordpress, the Dropbox is not getting activated. I uninstalled the plugin and reinstalled it after clearing the cache, but the Dropbox option is not getting activated. The plugin shows the old layout.
