Backup Upload failed/stopped … why?

i have problems to upload a ZIP-file with the plugin “Backup Migration”.
i want to relaunch a crashed website by uploading a backup file (.zip)
created with this plugin. But the upload stops after a few seconds with
the message, the upload cannot be done in cause of an error.
